Dominick FinchParticipantPower release. That little thing that only allows you to go fifty percent when you start a game. The only thing they do as of now is increase your damage. This idea won’t really add much to percentages. But it does add a bit more diversity. A bit. What I propose is power skipping. Now of you remember back in the early Buu saga. When they were entering the world tournament. They used a punching bag of sorts. It’s been a while since I watched that part so I can’t really remember it to well. But when the Z fighters that were participating punched the bag they would elevate their power for a split second to get a strong punch. This is what I propose for DBC. You can click a certain button or a combination of buttons and when you right click to punch your power would elevate to a certain percentage depending on the button or combination. Now I’m not saying make a button for every five percent. But more like every twenty five percent. Like you press a button and right click and hit an enemy. Your release jumps to twenty five percent. You could also press a button for fifty, seventy five, and one hundred percent. I think this idea adds a bit more strategy. Like in PvP. If the opponent constantly keeps using this power jump idea then the other one player won’t know the true power. The other warrior will have to think a lot more since he doesn’t know if the other player can dominate him. This idea can also provide quick escape situations since the first fifty or so percent of power release doesn’t give you to much of a speed boost.
Ahh fusion. The idea that so many fans of this mod have longed for for a long time and only recently got. Now let me first start this off by saying this idea is for once potara fusion is added. This will also have a bit of finger fusion in it but not much. Now to the idea. Now after reading old posts of the devblog I learned that Jin will have it where potara fusion is weaker than metamoran fusion if my memory serves me correctly. My idea for this is to make the multiplier for the two different fusions configurable. So if you want to make the potara fusion stronger you can. If you want to make the dance stronger you can. Next is a little bit more cosmetic. Two kinds of potara. The first kind are craftable. But these potara don’t actually allow you to fuse. These only give a half armor bar of protection and look good. Nothing else. Now the other kind. These allow you to fuse. And apply one and a half bar of protection. Now fusion itself.
Failed potara fusion:
Now this may seem weird but hear me out. When you and another player put on the earrings there will be a timer. This will symbolize them zooming towards each other as that do on the anime. Now too much time that’s bad, not enough time. That’s bad to. I’m saying something like five seconds. Now five seconds may seem too little but count out one Mississippi out loud semi slowly all the way to five. That is a full five seconds. Now how do you fail potara fusion. Well it’s a slim chance. But if your opponent can get a good blast on you then the fusion timer stops and the potara are instantly destroyed. Now remember about the two kinds of potara I mentioned earlier. Well how do you get the kind that let you fuse? Well unless the world of the Kais is added by then the the best I can think of is paying King Kai a certain amount of TP for them. Now onto the next topic.
Succeeded Potara Fusion:
This will be short and sweet. If you succeed the potara fusion then you become a fused being. Now I can’t think of a multiplier for this. What I’m thinking of is multiply the fusees stats and then divide it by like ten or something like that. Now that’s it for now. I had some more ideas but I can’t remember them right now. I’ll add to this idea if I think of anymore. -

IAmRaptorParticipantDo you mean you go up to the chosen percentage and then come back to your initial power level ? Or you jump to this certain power and keep it ?
What I find annoying with Potara is that basically it’s supposed to be eternal, but we’re in a game so it’s impossible. Now I find that if Potara<Metamoran, well who would try to get potaras ? If you learn the skill well it’s easy you don’t need an item. Now you could use potaras to fuse with someone who didn’t learn the fusion skill yet, but ya know on most servers you’re a ss3 in like 10 minutes so fusion wouldn’t be much harder.
Well I say where the Metamoran Fusion was kind of easy, the Potara Fusion is sometimes mind blowing. Essentially because Potaras is plot convinence basically. A good plot convinence, but still…

IAmRaptorParticipantLike when Goku fought Jeece and Burta ? He briefly increases his power to dodge and then come back to normal. Cause this way it’s even more easier to avoid wasting ki.

Dominick FinchParticipantYes exactly like that.
