Not doing damage to players

I’m not 100% sure if this is a bug or intended, but in a personal modpack my friends and I use, they aren’t using DBC so they chose natural instead of ki during character creation, and whenever I hit them no punch sound is played and i do only one damage, same for ki attacks only 1 dmg per hit. I’m not sure if it’s conflicting mods as I have around 30 in the pack. Any insight into whether this is intended, a bug, or possibly a mod conflict would be appreciated.

Sorry I think you misunderstood they have it downloaded, were all running the same mods, they just aren’t actively using it.

I think that just happens when someone whos using ki tries to kill natural type, y’know, for balancing and help players who prefer not to play with ki to not die to others who have just started out.

I’m not entirely sure what this is linked to; however, I am playing a mod pack I created with jwans dbc essentials. Included in this is the DBC mod as well as many others. I am not experiencing damage when it comes to entities punching, neither is my brother. I don’t know if it’s because the mobs are weaker than us by default, but we are just starting out so there should be no way. I have Jwan’s DBC essentials disabled in the configs when it comes to their damage reduction and even then I’m not sure how to fix it.
