Drugs and the Injector Unit

Ok first let’s get this out there, only evil and neutral players will be able to use them. And by that I mean without changing their alignment, you don’t see Goku injecting himself before a fight, do you? Remember winners don’t do drugs, unless your evil. now on to the subject in question. Basically it’ll add in a DBC equal to strength potions but with a catch, you need a body piece item called an “Injector Unit” this will have five variations which ill touch on in a bit. With this in hand you can pump yourself full of the stuff to give you an edge on your heroic counterpart! Now when you equip the Injector Unit it will be a sort of mechanical bracelet and you will be given an extra option in your X menu to turn it on or off when you do you take 1 damage, because hey a machine just stabbed a needle in your arm, that’s gonna hurt. If you have any of the strength drugs on you then you will get a multiplier in strength and dexterity, the multiplier will be configurable but let’s say 2 times max

So pretty impressive but what’s it gonna cost you. Well we can do one of two things here either have it be a craft-able item or wait until Zeni is added to the game and have a Black market of sorts. So first weighing the pros and cons,

If you make it craft-able then it will added earlier on, But then again people don’t really play Dragon Block C for the crafting and mining do they? The market idea is probably best but then it would have to wait. Either way, like the Scouters, it will have a tier ladder. The injector will get better and better but they will also more and more expensive it will start at the mark 1 with a multiplier of 1.2 times. Not really worth the effort at first but as the multiplier goes up from 1.2 to 1.4 and up, it will all be worth the wait, as you sit pretty with a times 2 multiplier. Now you say “hey what about the drug itself? Isn’t that important?” Either that or your complaining about this not being “cannon”, one or the other. And to the former I would say, yes, it is important and we are just about to talk about it.

How to get the drug is pretty simple, either black market or you brew it, yep that right simple as that… nah I’m kidding no way I’d let you of that easy. Basically you first have to get one the Otherworld ore, like dlog, dnomaid, or Lehnori and a medical moss and then put the moss in brewing stand with a water bottle and then you’ll get a Dirty Water (tastes funny) alternately you can use saiba seeds and senzu beans for differing effects. When that’s done brewing put one of the smelted ores in depending on the strength of the drug you want, dlog weakest and dnomaid strongest. you can also use jjay to prolong the effects of the drug or Katchin to strengthen it (small boost to speed and the such).

And voilà! You got your stuff! Now why did you need to upgrade both, the drug and injector? Simple because if you didn’t the lower tier injector one will overdose you the drug and you’ll die, what? Your working with illegal super steroids what did you expect? a slap on the wrist? Now all that’s left is to name the drug… hmm let’s see I’ve got it! Kradose! (Like you know a mix of Kratos, god of strength and Dose) working name.

-Note- this was only my second post to the suggestions section and was a lot bigger than the first one, but I really tried my best to present it as best i could so any feedback would be appreciated as I understand that this concept has stuff that can be improved

I know this post is like a few months old but adding drugs to a dbz mod is really fucked up. like dont you know how out of place that sounds?

Ok I’ll admit that I pitched it wrong in hindsight, but it’s basically a glorified strength potion which is not that out of place. It’s not like it’s breaking bad it’s more along the lines of Batman Animated series. Sort a bane style thing, admittedly a little gritty but DBZ has definitely been darker (and before I even have answer, the videl spopavich fight and I know it doesn’t have steroids in it but freaking look at the guy)
