piratefoodog1ParticipantThis topic is about Arcosian Forms, and my opinions about them.
Please Note: These are my thoughts about how arcosian gameplay could work, even though balancing is already in the plans.
Now, if you’ve watched even 1/3 of dragon ball z, you will get what I’m taking about, but for the people that didn’t (why didn’t you really): Friza, he started out pretty weak and became stronger, thats normal and what you see with pretty much all transformations, but friezas forms are SUPPRESSIONS of Frieza’s great power, because once he got so powerful he couldn’t handle the power in his body for that long, its like having a electric current going through you, its fine for a minute maybe, but for long amounts of time it could kill you. Now, what I think is:
When Arcosians start off, they are in their strongest form.
You might say: Wait, why would you start out strong?
Well, at the start you aren’t that strong, and your body can handle the power, but once you get stronger, you start getting disadvantages from your base form, which is your strongest, so- Say I’m an arcosian that just started out, I have like 50 bp, but once I get around 20k bp, I can’t regenerate very easily, the power starts being too strong for my body, so I create my first form, which limits my power, so instead of say- a super saiyan 1 making your power 2.5x, first form limits my power by dividing it by say, .5, so if I have 10k bp, I now have 5k, you may ask: Wtf why would I want to be weaker? Well, when you limit your power your debuffs are lessened, all the way down to the last form which has no debuffs at all, like that of a human, but to power up, you have to break the forms that lessen your power, now- you may think- “wtf, why would you even transform at all if it gives debuffs, this would ruin arcoisan!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!” Well, you have a bit of time before the fatigue of your debuffs kick in, so at first its minor debuffs, like 10% less regeneration, but by 20 minutes, you might be losing health, struggling to survive, your ki is really hard to regenerate. (And- when stamina is added, its really hard to regen stamina) Now, what this does is make arcosians need breaks, as frieza’s base form seemed to tire him tremendously, now you might say “Pirate, the battle with frieza could have went on for days!” Well, while thats true, if time slows down for you, and you fight for what in your time, is 30 seconds, but in normal time, is 120 seconds, it isn’t the time that matters, its the amount of exhaustion that happened in their perception of time. So, what you do is you start strong, get too strong for your body to maintain for long amounts of time, get a form of suppression to fight debuffs, and break those forms when you want to fight, this would make the entire arcosian race alot more interesting, and make it unique from saiyans.tl;dr Arcosian are stronk at first, get 2 stronk 4 der body, need a form to suppress their powah, and powah up for short amountz of time be4 getting 2 exausted an must supress powah b4 they die. Le End.

AkaSoraParticipantThis is a good idea and I read something about starting in arcosian true form and having to suppress your power with transformations and I also heard about customizing your suppressed form because Frieza customized his and ssj is a x1.5 boost not 2.5 😛
