Yeah actually, if just the mind is your problem, change your max stat cap from 500 to 100 and gameplay will be fine, as all skill levels will cost 1 instead of 5 then. That also balances out saiyan transformations, cause when the stat cap is at 500 or above for some reason instead of multiplying your stats, if they’re low enough, they will just increase them by a base amount, which makes saiyans insanely op early game compared to other races.
You can also change the last option of the config file, the “How much mind for a TP gain boost” thing, from 200 to 5, making every 5 mind you have increase your TP gain by 1, which makes training late game be around the same pace as early game, and atleast gives a function to mind that isn’t skill related.
So those are your options if your goal is making vanilla DBC playable in a simple way, but if you want more, I have some pretty modified configs, mainly gameplay related, trying to make grinding somewhat more fun, in-depth, or something. They’re supposed to be played with a custom story and side quests I have though, but anyways I’ll make like a dropbox with instructions for how to install them if you’re interested
