In the startup menu of minecraft, if you go to settings and click “keep output log when the game starts,” then you will have an output log to see which mods simply are not working, without having to go through every individual mod in a mod pack or such. I do that every time I load a new mod pack that I don’t know what is compatible with what. This will certainly help. Although, I’m pretty sure that this will not tell you what is wrong with a specific mod without the help of professionals and/or extensive, tedious, long hours looking for the source of the problem in the mod itself through the output log. When your game crashes (especially in the loading screen, but it can be found after that point), go to the very bottom and look through the error sections, this will tell you the problem.
