Fix update – 17w25

Here are fix updates, I hope it helps a little.

Also I updated my resource pack but only 256x yet.

More About the Resource Pack update
Textures are unfinished and not optimized at all and were made to see if it works correctly.
The following races are fully HD: Human, Namekian, Saiyan, Half-Saiyan
Experimental HD Textures for Arcosians only for Body Type 1.
By “unfinished” and “not optimized” I mean that I still need to work on them and probably redraw most of them.

JRMCore release version 1.2.42
+ FIXED – SSB and SSG ritual hairs swapped…
+ FIXED – M symbol’s percentage change config not working correctly
+ FIXED – New skills were not working correctly, mainly on servers (Ki Fist, Ki Protection, Ki Boost)
+ Changed – (it was changed already in the previous update) – in jrmcconfig the damage and ki cost multiplier config’s name for Saiyan and Half-Saiyan had a changed in them where the “&” was changed to “and” so from “Saiyan & Half-Saiyan” to “Saiyan and Half-Saiyan”. Please everyone make sure who changed these configs, if you want to use your old multipliers rewrite the new configs to match your previous lines. The previous one is still in the config file but will not work at all so you can remove it afterwards if you don’t want to get confused.

DBC release version 1.4.37
+ FIXED – with death some action menu switches got reset as well (like fly, arcosian mask or saiyan’s tail mode)

JBRA release version 1.6.23
+ Changed – few lines because of my Resource pack update

HD Resource Pack Addon version 0.5 (only 256x atm)
+ ADDED – HD textures for the custom character maker partly

    Hey Jin, please read this. I have some questions about the attribute cost increase. In DBC, whenever I upgrade an attribute, it increases the cost for not only that attribute, but ALL the other attributes as well. For example, I upgrade strength and the cost to upgrade ALL the other attributes increase, not just strength. I do not think that it should work that way. I think that if you upgrade an attribute, the cost for only that attribute should go up. Not the costs for all the other attributes as well. So anyway, the config “attribute cost increase” is the config for that. I did a little research and discovered that it used to be written in the configs that you can change it from “global” to “onebyone”. Global is when the costs for all the attributes increase at the same time. And onebyone is when you upgrade an attribute, the cost for only that attribute increases. But now that isn’t written anymore. I tried to set the config to onebyone but it didn’t do anything. I was just wondering if this was something that wasn’t meant to happen or if it’s something that you did on purpose. If this isn’t meant to happen, could you possibly fix that? If you could that would be amazing and make the mod so much more enjoyable and playable. If you meant to do this, could you possibly change it back? I understand that it’s your mod and you make the decisions, but again, changing this back would make DBC MUCH more fun and playable. Thanks 🙂

      With the new mind attribute bonus where it can increase TP I dunno if that’s the best idea.. But yeah I think it should be an option for those setting up their own servers.

      Maybe a config where you can choose how much the increase is too

      Imo I like making things extremely difficult to increase in power

      I make every mob extremely hard to fight, make transformations insanely difficult to obtain, and hell even earning skills is in the hundreds of thousands (Fly, Dash, Endurance)
      Godform is in the billions, the only thing I can’t really change is the amount of TP required to actually upgrade attributes… I think I’m a bit crazy o 3o

        I’ve been looking for whatever mod makes normal mobs way stronger, do you have an idea which mod gives zombies around 180 health and weaker mobs like 60?

          I don’t know a mod that modifies the vanilla mobs but I use Orespawn and set their healths and damage to where most of the beginning of the game is impossible to fight them while you’d need to be at least 600 in each stat with Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken, AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE to kill the Queen and the King needs an extra person, so yeah that’s what I use

    @mintrer if you are talking about armor not helping defense anymore then to me that is a good thing. In the show vegeta could not just wear armor and beat freeza and take no damage. Plus it makes it more balanced, my friends could now be equal level to me and not easily beat me because they had armor…

      I’m not talking about that xD

      I’m talkng about how DBC hits always ignore MOB armor.
      So for example if you deal 4 damage and you punch a full diamond armor zombie, instead of dealing like 0 damage, you still deal 4

    @mintrer ahh, that makes sense ? i was like so worried that the armor not affecting damage for players was a feature and i thought you said it was a bug and i was like that was my fav part about the latest updates ??

    Sword art online C has more potential, naruto C is a bit like a DBC clone. Atleast Saoc has the feature where mobs spawn stronger and stuff. NC has nothing too different from dbc, except that you can learn skills by yourself and some other stuff

        Yeah, sure. But i mean, naruto C had a LOT more time put into it than Saoc, but naruto C just feels too much like DBC, y’know? Saoc has many different concepts, even though it’s very, very unnoticed.

        And i’m not saying that because i like sword art online more than naruto or something, i haven’t watched any other anime than db and dbz, i’m not into that.

    If Jin added limb damage, bio androids (like cell?), androids and the Majin race it would be amazing at

    The cell race could assign 2 random players on the server for you to absorb to reach your final form faster or get it in training yourself on a single player world, absorbing a player below 20% health will kill them to mimic an ‘absorption’… Would be badass to see that

    Jin may I ask you to add a good equivalent of Majin to DBC because everyone is now given incentive to go and stay evil because they get almost permanent power and I feel like you should add like Elder Guru on Namek so that you can choose to be good or evil again instead of having to choose for roleplay reasons.

    If jin was to nerf majin then I think it should work so you get random side quests once every minecraft week, if you don’t complete the task set by him, you become weaker equivalent to the boost so if the boost is a +50 dmg then you get -50 dmg and the symbol will become irreversible until the task is complete

    another way to make it more in depth is to make it so you need to be of a certain strength to get the state because he “only takes the best fighters” it would be good if you’re evil and are within the safezone area and is a high strength then the transformation bar will start to rise, the more evil you are, the faster the rise.

    Hey Jin if you add the Majin Race you have to add that we can absorb other players or mobs.
    And the absortion can be a ki attack, and if you are absrorbed transport to a Labyrinth and you have to escape.
    If you absorb a player your name is fused with the name of the player you absorb

    What if instead of Jin added transformations, he instead added a custom transformation thing that has different effects and attributes and maybe even color changes of different body parts such as eyes hair skin (such as different Frieza race skin or ssj 4 fur types)and so on. and for hair changes maybe have a custom thing that works from the Hair Salon. I personally think this would be better so no one has to ask for transformations and can actually easily do it themselves although this sounds really hard to do I think it would give you time and space for adding actual content instead of countless transformations
