When Your Character On Either DBC, Naruto C Or Both(Heck. Maybe Even SAOC) Hits Level 100. Wouldn’t It Be Amazing If They Could Have Their Own Ability? First off, I would love to point out that someone said Level instead of BP, as Levels are cross platform, and don’t serve much of a purpose right now.

For Example:
-Cell Had His Absorbing Ability(?) Sadly, this won’t do. Absorbing seems to be a Majin/Bio-Android specific thing.
-Ginyu Could Switch Bodies(This Is WAAAAYY TOO OP THO) True.
-Goku Could Use Intant Transmission Instanst transmission is already designed to be a skill, but I see where you are going with this.

You Could Give Players The Option To Select Attributes To Add To The Skill. Like Make It Do Damage Or Heal, Maybe Give Some Of Your Characters Power To Them Temporarily.

Welp. I Hope This Idea Comes Through. Thanks!

So, that idea, in short, basically suggests we add something skills that are limited and only obtainable by level. Before I go further, yes, we are planning to add more skills to the game. Something like this though is iffy. Having a specific skill learnable by level is fine, but limiting it, saying you can only pick this OR that, would put a bad taste in some peoples mouths. What if someone wants to use instant transmission AND Body change as a combo. Anyway, I want to see what you guys think of this, let me know in the comments, I read all of them. Stay tuned for next weeks post!

  1. bio androids and majin race should DEFINITELY both be able to absorb.
    though i think they could be different types.
    cells can be a life drain. ie… drinking from the tail til there is nothing left. and this would be a thing for all forms as a way to heal. the only other way he would absorb is tail nom. but that would require specific androids (17 and 18)
    i WILL say, in dragon ball xenoverse 2 when imperfect cell is fighting perfect cell he comments something along the lines of “if i absorb you, i will be perfect immediately!!”
    this leads me to believe if imperfect or sem-perfect cell time traveled again into the past, buried deep underground, emerges when the main perfect cell starts the cell games (growing in power as he has to absorb a LOT more people to match his own power of perfection) then somehow defeat his perfect self and absorbed him….. he would jump straight to his perfect form.
    ….man… cell wasn’t kidding. multiverse theory is a bitch.

    I honestly can’t wait until more Skills get added, to me Skills have always been the key to making players feel more unique.

    Right now the thing that makes a player themselves is their race, you get one and that’s it, classes don’t matter since they just affect your stats.
    But with Skills, you give people something that they can choose to define them without having to build around it.

    Right now the best examples are Kaio-Ken, God Form, and Fusion, they give different abilities and power to players that don’t just come from stats, but they’re limited instead by skill slots.
    I’m looking forward to the day when we have tons of Skills that give abilities from better punching or Ki use, to new mechanics like Ki weapons (By the way, when are you talking about that?) or something crazy like Multi-Form or Gotenk’s kamikaze ghosts.

    Then everyone can have something that they choose to have and they can do, instead of right now where everyone is an ace of all trades.

     
  4. I reckon skills being added would be awesome. Anything that requires skill makes players want to become better, improving the overall foundation of a game (Call Of Duty series, Dota/ Dota 2, Counter-Strike series, Command and Conquer/AOE/AOM/TA.) The more ‘simplistic complexity’ a game has the more play-ability in my opinion. Having the individual abilities would be awesome as players find ways to utilize them the best they can in a given situation.

    Then again you guys do whatever, I’ve 100% agreed with all of your decisions so far and it doesn’t look like I’m ever going to disagree sooo.

    Personally, I think if there should be individual abilities, they should works something like Ars Magica, lots or possibilities, and tons of different combinations.
